Big fishing trip!
This weekend we had the annual Star-Service Fishing trip. Our great bosses take us on a all inclusive fishing trip and a day at their camp in cocodrie, La. I arrived Sat. morning and unloaded lot of drinks and ice chest and the like. This year was a special year. It was the first fishing trip since I got saved, I thought about not going because the things that used to get me going do nothing for me now! Beer and dirty jokes do nothign for me now, once you know that none of that stuff brings glory to God, then it is really a waste of my time, But the more i thought about it the more I think God wanted me to go, What a great thing for these co-workers to see what god has done for me, that can’t be Eric, he is not drunk and using foul words, he is just having fun. SOOO off I go to the fishing trip and would you know not once did i miss that nasty tasting beer or the words. I come in to work this morning and told my Spiritual mentor how easy it was, Now you have to know where this comes from it is only from God. He wanted me to go and show how he can take things away we cannot take away ourselves. GOD RULES!!!!
