going to church online
As my blog hero started touring online experiences and blogging and twittering the results it got me thinking, can a person really go to church and be involved all from the computer? My answer is yes. I think a person can flourish given the right online setting and given the right tools to further them along in the right direction. There are hundreds of people who will not or can not enter a building known as the church, maybe it’s their past, maybe it’s a disability, maybe it’s just fear of rejection, who knows. All I know is that their is a great number of hurting people who are being reached all over the world through online church. I like going to church, I like going to watch a live preacher preach a live sermon, I like seeing my friends at church, eating a good Sunday late lunch after leaving service, but I found out I like church online as well. Look at all we can do to reach hurting people simply by logging on and answering questions, giving Godly advice to people who would never walk up to you in church and ask. that’s great. This laptop I am typing this on right now may be the next tool God uses to unlock prison doors to thousands of prisoners who are being kept captive, Heal this sick, bring love, bring hope, bring change. never put God in a box. This is great. I am excited, I am looking forward to what God does through great minds like David Song, Josh Foster and Brad Duplechain and Dan Ohlerking. Thank God people in a little Church in a little city in a BIG world listen to God and what he is to have them do. YAHOOOOOOO.. check out the following sites these are my favorite online experiences:
These are not all but just the ones I like to hang out at. there are many many more. Find one that’s right for you, and go to church.
